This glass soy wax candle burns clean with less soot than paraffin wax. This is important to our family and we feel it is a benefit to all families.

The soy wax coming from a farm is sustainable and not damaging to the environment like paraffin which comes from fossil fuels that have to be extracted from the earth. Soy Wax is made from soybeans grown by farmers from the Midwest, some of whom are our neighbors and friends; by choosing this type of wax, we are indirectly supporting them.

Paraffin wax has been reported to release carcinogens and other chemicals that have direct relations to health issues. Being a family business and burning candles in our home, it is essential to our Simply Home Soaps team that we provide the safest environment for our family and yours.

The following rules make our candles with funny sayings safer and extend the life of the candle itself:

• Trim the wick before you burn the candle to 1/4 inch.
• Never place the soy wax candle on a flammable surface while burning.
• Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Burn the candle for at least two to three hours to reduce tunneling.
• Never leave a burning candle in a room unattended.
